Distance Reiki Energy Healing – Supporting Mind-Body Wellness Anywhere
Introduction
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy balancing practice that promotes deep relaxation, eases stress, and supports emotional well-being. Many describe it as a peaceful pause for the mind and a restorative reset for the body.
As both a Licensed Mental Health Clinician and Certified Reiki Master Practitioner, I bring a grounded, trauma-informed approach to Reiki that honors both mind and body. Reiki can be a valuable complement to therapy or medical care, or it can be experienced on its own as a stand-alone wellness practice for relaxation, balance, and renewal.
All Reiki sessions are provided exclusively at a distance, so you can receive care from the comfort of your own home—whether across town or across the world.
For thousands of years, cultures around the world have worked with the body’s natural energy to support healing and vitality. Reiki, developed in Japan by Mikao Usui, means “universal life energy.”
Through focused intention and gentle techniques, Reiki helps:
Emotions and trauma are not only mental experiences—they are also stored in the body. Stressful or overwhelming events can leave an imprint in the nervous system, muscles, and tissues, creating tension or discomfort that lingers long after the event. Reiki helps calm the nervous system and gently release these stored patterns, allowing the body to restore balance and the mind to process emotions with greater ease.
Energy is not limited by physical space. Just as you can send a text across the globe instantly, Reiki can be transmitted beyond location. I “tune in” to your unique energy signature, much like tuning a radio frequency, allowing energy to flow in real time wherever you are.
Many clients find being at home allows them to relax more deeply and receive with greater ease.
Research in neuroscience and psychology shows that trauma and unresolved emotions can become “embodied,” stored in the nervous system and even influencing physical health. For example, the stress response can trigger chronic activation of the body’s fight-or-flight system, which over time contributes to pain, muscle tension, digestive issues, or sleep disruption.
Because of my mental health background, sessions are always approached with a trauma-informed perspective, ensuring safety, consent, and integration. Reiki supports the body’s parasympathetic nervous system—the “rest and repair” state—helping to release stored imprints and encouraging the body and mind to return to a state of regulation.

Note: Reiki is a complementary wellness practice. It is not a substitute for medical or psychological care, but it can be used alongside other approaches or on its own as part of your personal self-care and healing journey.

🙌 Reiki Sessions
All Reiki sessions are provided remotely (distance Reiki) so you can receive support from wherever you are. While you rest comfortably, I track the energetic flow and take detailed notes on impressions and guidance that arise.
* Instead of just a quick follow-up call (as many practitioners offer), you’ll receive a comprehensive written summary. This is a healing tool in itself—a thoughtful record you can revisit, helping you notice connections and support your integration long after the session.
Your written summary may include:

60 minutes – $135 (all sessions are scheduled for 60 minutes)
1. Photo Session (Most Recommended):
You send a recent photo and, if you wish, a brief check-in beforehand. You then rest comfortably while I conduct the session. With no live distractions, I can fully concentrate and prepare a detailed written summary for you.
2. Video Session (via TherapyNotes portal):
We connect live for a short check-in. To help you fully relax, you may choose to turn your camera off during the Reiki portion. At the end, we can reconnect briefly if desired, and you’ll also receive the same in-depth written summary for reflection.
These sessions are separate from Reiki and focus on helping you process your experience afterward.

🌟 Intuitive & Reflective Insights
In addition to the flow of Reiki energy, sessions sometimes bring forward intuitive impressions, symbolic imagery, or meaningful themes. These experiences can highlight connections between emotions, patterns, or life events that may be influencing your current state. At times, this may include deeper energetic themes related to family patterns, generational influences, or experiences beyond the present moment. When these arise, I include them in your written summary with care, so you can reflect at your own pace and decide how you’d like to integrate them.

Do I need to believe in Reiki for it to work?
No—Reiki works regardless of belief. It is most effective when you are open and able to relax.
How many sessions will I need?
Everyone’s needs are different. Some notice shifts after one session; others prefer ongoing support.
What do you need to know before my session?
You don’t need to share much (or anything at all) for Reiki to be effective. Part of my role as a practitioner is to connect with your energy and allow the session to show me where support is most needed. Through training, experience, and natural sensitivity, I am able to attune to energetic imbalances and let the flow of Reiki guide the process. Many clients are surprised at how accurately the session reflects what they’ve been carrying, even without saying a word. You’re always welcome to share an intention or area of focus if you’d like, but it isn’t necessary.
What will I notice during or after a session?
Experiences vary, but many people report:
Can children receive Reiki?
Yes. Reiki is safe, gentle, and non-invasive, making it especially supportive for children. Sessions can help ease stress, support sleep, and provide comfort in a familiar environment. For younger children or those with sensory sensitivities, distance sessions can be especially beneficial. Many children with sensory issues or autism have benefited from Reiki services.
Do I need to do anything to prepare for a session?
There is no special preparation required. Many clients find it helpful to:
After the session, drinking water and giving yourself time to rest or reflect can support the integration of the Reiki energy.
Is Reiki a religion?
No—Reiki is a wellness practice compatible with any belief system.
