I believe that therapy is one of the most constructive tools and resources at our disposal. Through therapy, we can make effective change and improve the quality of our lives. This is made possible by analyzing, evaluating and modifying our life philosophy as well as applying critical thinking and interaction patterns. As a therapist, I strive to provide a supportive, respectful and collaborative therapeutic environment where we can fully explore your concerns, challenges, and values. By working together, we can gain a better understanding as to how to appropriately implement and modify effective treatment approaches that meet your needs.
My specialties include adolescents, adults, families, athletes, and couples counseling. I have substantial experience with Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Stress management, and Work/Mid life dissatisfaction .

Seeking therapy is an important first step to achieving long term change in your life. I view therapy as a collaborative growth process where you and I are active in discussing your past and present experiences while at the same time addressing your current cognitions and emotions. My goal is to help you become aware of the roots of your problem so that you can begin to address and overcome them. We will look for patterns and obstacles that prevent you from living the life you want. My training and experience with evidenced based treatment models allows me to best help my clients. As I assess the issue at hand I will gain an understanding of the type of treatment approach needed to help you or your family achieve peace and happiness.
In addition to mental health services I also offer nutritional counseling to those who are interested. I have found over my years of practice that physical health plays a large role in my clients mental health and overall quality of life. I am passionate in assisting my clients with improving their health through education, meal planning, and ways to make strides toward healthier lifestyle changes including but not limited to exercise.
